How to make habits stick: make them obvious, attractive, easy, & rewarding

To make a habit stick, follow the four laws: make it obvious, attractive, easy, and satisfying. To make meditation more obvious, create a clear space dedicated to the practice. To make it attractive, choose a version of meditation that genuinely interests you. Making it easy involves starting with just a minute of meditation and gradually increasing the duration. Finally, make it satisfying by adding positive emotions or rewards to the experience. The cardinal rule of behavior change is that behaviors that get rewarded get repeated. By reinforcing your desired identity, you can feel good about performing the habit, even if it's only for a short duration.
