Dispelling Myths about Stem Cells and Aging

The stem cell theory of aging is based on the fact that you tend to lose your endogenous availability of stem cells as you age, but that doesn't seem to accelerate aging. Injecting stem cells can up-regulate your body's own ability to repair itself, regardless of the age of the injected stem cells. This means that even if you're 70 years old and you had your stem cells injected, you would still see a good effect, such as lengthening telomeres or improving joint health. Stem cells can also be used for genital injection to call in the body's own growth factors and improve vascularization. A full body stem cell makeover, which involves extracting bone marrow and fat stem cells, along with exosomes and platelet-rich plasma, can have significant effects on sexual enhancement. However, this procedure has received criticism and controversy.
