The Power of Merger in History
Different human groups have the ability to merge even when they hate each other, which is a unique characteristic that separates us from animal species. Throughout history, national and religious groups that despised each other have ended up merging. Examples include Germany, where Prussians, Bavarians, and Saxons, who fought and hated each other, eventually united to form a single country. A similar pattern can be observed in Britain, where English and Scots, with a history of hatred and conflict, eventually came together. The power of merger in history is influenced by the people you fight and even hate, often more than anyone else.
