The Creative Process of Messing With Your Own Assumptions
Worrying about property websites may seem silly because human real estate agents often know what the buyer wants better than the buyer themselves. Most buyers come with preset criteria, but end up buying a house that misses some of those criteria because they like something else. In fact, a significant number of people end up buying something that doesn't meet any of their initial criteria. The creative process involves challenging your own assumptions and looking at things in a wider context, which is the job of the right hemisphere of the brain. This idea is supported by evidence in McGill-Christ's book.
