Studying people and their experiences is interesting. Initially, podcasts seemed unappealing because they involved multiple hours of work for just a few minutes of consumption. However, listening to audiobooks at a faster speed became a way to absorb a book's content efficiently. Books used to be a rich source of information, but podcasts have improved in providing timely insights. The lead time for new discoveries to appear in a podcast is shorter compared to being published in a book. In college, the speaker realized the value of professors' knowledge that couldn't be accessed through Wikipedia. Nowadays, podcasts offer the opportunity to learn cutting-edge information on various topics, making them a valuable resource.
