Humans must root out arrogant opinions and mistrust, as they hinder growth and happiness. Assumptions about projects and people are often proven wrong, highlighting the need to fight biases and preconceptions. We must constantly ask ourselves what we haven't considered and question our role in situations. The core teaching of Stoicism is that we are not as smart and wise as we believe, and wisdom comes from humility and questioning, not certainty, mistrust, or arrogance. Ego is the enemy of learning, and the tragedy of stupidity is that the ignorant are too conceited to realize their own ignorance.
