Steve Jobs believed that every computer should be like the Macintosh, streamlined, practical, simple, and sophisticated, providing a tool for enhancing creativity as well as productivity. He despised products created solely for quick profit and valued craftsmanship and passion in product design. He believed that the innovation of the Macintosh would change the way other computers were made, stating that it was inevitable. Steve Jobs approached product design and building his company with an irrational love and believed that every computer would eventually work in the same way as the Macintosh.
