*People who embrace AI will be so far ahead *
AI is poised to significantly transform the workplace, although the transition may not be immediate as many are still learning how to effectively utilize it. Those who embrace AI early will gain a substantial advantage, as they will be able to work more efficiently and effectively. Over the next five to ten years, the roles of product managers, engineers, and designers will increasingly overlap due to AI capabilities. For example, AI tools like Figma AI will enable product managers to create prototypes and designs more easily, while designers will also find their tasks simplified. Although current tools still require expertise to navigate properly, their continuous improvement is encouraging. It's crucial for professionals to avoid falling behind; while their jobs won't disappear, they will inevitably evolve. A growing reliance on software is expected, but resistance to adopting AI tools could hinder progress and revert individuals to outdated methods, presenting a significant risk in an increasingly AI-driven work environment.
