Taking ownership and finding revenue opportunities is crucial for employees to contribute to the growth of a company. A normal employee may simply do their job and go home without taking ownership. However, if a supervisor encourages them to look for new revenue opportunities, they may start exploring options. A B-level employee might conduct a basic Google search and find an apparel company to print their logo and ship products. An A-level supervisor would recognize the effort and let it go. Taking ownership and going the extra mile can lead to more entrepreneurs making money, improving products, and enhancing employee experiences.
