Understanding Storgay Love, The Foundation of All Love

Storgay love is one of the four words the Greeks used to describe love, specifically family love or affectionate love. It is the first form of love experienced by a child, primarily received from their mother, and is characterized by loving eye contact, loving tones of voice, and loving touch. Storgay love provides a container within us to store love, enabling us to receive and contain affection later in life without it flowing out like a bottomless pit.
