The pressure to make creativity productive can be hard to justify, as it is often easier to prioritize activities that earn money or help others. This desire to make creativity productive can corrupt the very thing we want to do. When starting a business or pursuing a side hustle, it is important to have a genuine passion or interest driving it, rather than just seeking an opportunity. Instead of adding additional pressure and goals, it is beneficial to make more space for creativity by removing the need for a side hustle. This is exemplified through the speaker's own experience of starting a side hustle in fitness and outdoor activities because it aligned with their passion.
