The Key to Success: Extreme Specialization
Extreme specialization is the key to success in any business. Specialization protects us from competition by creating a barrier of entry. If we specialize in something and excel at it, we will stand out from the crowd. This is why specialists can command higher prices and make more profit. Surrounding ourselves with great people and getting into great businesses eliminates most of the problems we have control over. Being deeply interested in something is crucial for success, even if we are smart.
