*The Significance of the Number “7” in Building The Temple *
The temple in Jerusalem has immense theological significance as the dwelling place of God, where priests minister in the presence of God. It is also a place where pilgrims come for important festivals, such as Passover, Pentecost, and tabernacles. The temple houses significant items like the Ark of the Covenant and the Bread of the Presence. Additionally, the temple served as the Supreme Court of Israel and a place of education and worship. The location of the temple, Mount Mariah, is significant as it is the same location where Abraham offered his son Isaac as a sacrifice. The construction of the temple took seven years and was consecrated in the seventh month of the seventh year, at the end of the Feast of Chapernacles, which lasted seven days.
