Hack your memory - make sure you don't forget
Perspective memory refers to situations where you are planning and trying to ensure that you will remember something later. We are not as good at perspective memory as we think we are. The typical approach is to rely on external cues to trigger our memory. For example, leaving something out of place or tying a string around our finger. It is important to acknowledge that we are likely to forget more than we anticipate.
