Regaining the focus ability
To improve concentration and regain the focus ability, it is important to train the brain to become more comfortable with boredom and lack of novel stimuli. Passive training activities that help with this include watching films without distractions, reading books without looking at screens, and engaging in outdoor activities without using phones or tablets. Any hobby that requires unbroken concentration, such as practicing a sport or playing chess puzzles, can actively help increase the capacity for focus. By regularly engaging in both passive and active training activities, individuals can become more comfortable with boredom and improve their ability to concentrate on cognitive demanding tasks.
