The Sonoma OS update offers enhanced screen sharing with a feature that overlays a small version of you while you share your screen. This feature allows for better interaction during video conferencing. Unlike other video conferencing apps that blur the background, Sonoma eliminates the background entirely. The update also includes gimmicky effects that are not widely liked or used. Safari has received privacy features and a profile switcher, which resembles Chrome's profile switcher. Additionally, users can now create web apps from any app and place the icon on the desktop, similar to what can be done with Chrome or on Windows.
