William G. Dever

William Gwinn Dever is an American archaeologist, Biblical scholar, historian, semiticist, and theologian. He is an active scholar of the Old Testament, and historian, specialized in the history of the Ancient Near East and the ancient kingdoms of Israel and Judah in biblical times.
