W. Daniel Hillis

W. Daniel Hillis is an American inventor, entrepreneur, scientist, and writer, known for his work in computer science. He is the founder of Thinking Machines Corporation and has held various roles including Vice President of Research and Disney Fellow at Walt Disney Imagineering. Hillis is also a visiting professor at the MIT Media Lab and has co-founded several technology companies.
