W. Daniel (Danny) Hillis

An American inventor, scientist, engineer, author, and visionary, known for pioneering the concept of massively parallel computers. He is the co-founder of Thinking Machines Corporation and Applied Minds, and has held various academic and industry positions, including at MIT and Walt Disney Imagineering.
