Sister Mary Prudence Allen RSM

Sister Mary Prudence Allen RSM is an American Catholic philosopher and member of the Religious Sisters of Mercy of Alma, Michigan. She specializes in the history of philosophy, philosophical anthropology, and the philosophy of woman. Born Christine Hope Allen, she converted to Catholicism in 1964 and joined the Religious Sisters of Mercy in 1983. She holds a Ph.D. in philosophy from Claremont Graduate School and has taught philosophy at various institutions.
