

Shaykh Ibn ‘Ata’illah al-Iskandari
A renowned Sufi saint and sage of the 13th century AD, born and raised in Alexandria, and later lived and died in Cairo. He was the third master of the Shadhiliyya Sufi order and taught Sacred Law in various institutions, including the Al-Azhar Mosque. He is well known for his concise and sublime spiritual aphorisms.
