New book evaluates President Biden's legacy as midterm elections approach
Julian Zelizer, a Princeton historian of modern American politics, joins NPR correspondent Scott Tong to assess Joe Biden’s presidency as the midterms near. They explore Biden’s struggle against MAGA, deepening polarization, Trump’s media dominance, and why Democrats lost working-class voters. They also examine Biden’s Justice Department safeguards, overlooked domestic policies, and the complexities of his historical legacy.
