Rosemary Sutcliff

Rosemary Sutcliff was an English novelist best known for her historical fiction and retellings of myths and legends, particularly for children. She was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire in 1975 and later a Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 1992 for her services to children's literature.
