Robert Rogers

Robert Rogers (1731-1795) was a colonial American frontiersman, soldier, and playwright, best known for leading Rogers' Rangers during the French and Indian War. He authored several books about his experiences and observations in North America, and 'Pontiac, or the savages of America' is one of his theatrical works.
