Pierre Vidal-Lacquer

Pierre Vidal-Naquet (1930–2006) was a prominent French historian known for his work on ancient Greece and his political activism. He was a specialist in ancient Greek history and a vocal critic of French colonialism and the use of torture during the Algerian War. Vidal-Naquet was also deeply involved in the study of the Holocaust and the fight against historical revisionism.
