Philip Milton Roth

Philip Milton Roth (March 19, 1933 – May 22, 2018) was an American novelist and short-story writer known for his intensely autobiographical and philosophically complex works. He was one of the most honored American writers of his generation, receiving numerous awards including the National Book Award, the Pulitzer Prize, and the Man Booker International Prize.
