The Biden administration opened a line with the cryptocurrency industry Wednesday, as the White House and Democrats find themselves increasingly at odds with powerful players in the digital assets space. Anita Dunn, a senior adviser to President Biden, met with dozens of crypto leaders in her personal capacity Wednesday at a roundtable organized by crypto-friendly Democratic Rep. Ro Khanna (Calif.). However, nothing came of that meeting, instead, Biden choosing to double-down on its anti-crypto stance.
