Notker the Stammerer

Notker the Stammerer, also known as Notker Balbulus, was a Benedictine monk at the Abbey of Saint Gall. He was a significant figure in the Western Church, known for his contributions to music, literature, and his anecdotal biography of Charlemagne, the *Gesta Karoli Magni*.
