Mumon

Master Mumon (無門慧開, Mù Mén Huì Kāi) was a Chinese Zen master of the Song dynasty (960-1279 CE). He is best known for compiling the Mumonkan (無門關, Gateless Gate), a collection of Zen koans that has profoundly influenced Zen practice for centuries.
