Multiple authors

The Book of Documents is a compilation of texts written by various authors across different periods, including the Spring and Autumn (771-475 BCE) and the Warring States Period (475-221 BCE). Traditionally, it was attributed to Confucius, but modern scholarship indicates multiple authors.
