Lewis Carroll (Charles Lutwidge Dodgson)

Lewis Carroll, whose real name was Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, was an English author, poet, mathematician, photographer, and Anglican deacon. He is best known for his works in the genre of literary nonsense, particularly 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland' and its sequel 'Through the Looking-Glass'. He was a scholar and teacher at Christ Church, Oxford, and was noted for his facility with word play, logic, and fantasy.
