Joshua M. Sears

Assistant professor of ancient scripture at Brigham Young University. He earned a BA in ancient Near Eastern studies from BYU, an MA from The Ohio State University, and a PhD in Hebrew Bible from The University of Texas at Austin. His research focuses on Israelite prophecy, biblical polygamy, the book of Isaiah, marriage and families in the ancient world, and Latter-day Saint scripture.
