Joseph Daniel Unwin

English ethnologist and social anthropologist at Oxford University and Cambridge University. He served in World War I, was awarded the Military Cross, and later conducted extensive research on social and cultural anthropology. Unwin is best known for his work 'Sex and Culture', which explores the correlation between sexual restraint and cultural achievement.
