Iosif Samuilovich Shklovsky

Iosif Samuilovich Shklovsky was a Soviet astronomer and astrophysicist known for his work in theoretical astrophysics. He is remembered for his contributions to the field of extraterrestrial life and his collaboration with Carl Sagan on 'Intelligent Life in the Universe'. Shklovsky was a Corresponding Member of the Soviet Academy of Sciences and won several prestigious awards, including the Lenin Prize and the Bruce Medal.
