Guo Gu

Guo Gu is a distinguished Chan Buddhist teacher, founder of the Tallahassee Chan Center, and professor of Buddhist studies at Florida State University. He is a senior disciple of Master Sheng Yen and has assisted in leading Chan activities at major centers in Taiwan, Europe, and Asia. Guo Gu is also the author of several books on Chan Buddhism, including 'The Essence of Chan' and 'Passing through the Gateless Barrier'.
