Gucci Mane is an American rapper, known professionally as Gucci Mane. He is credited with pioneering the hip hop subgenre trap music for mainstream audiences. Born in Bessemer, Alabama, he has released fifteen studio albums and over a hundred overall projects, and has founded the label imprint 1017 Records.
