Faculty of the University of Navarre

The Faculty of Theology at the University of Navarre, Spain, compiled the Navarre Bible under the initiative of St. Josemaría Escrivá, the founder of Opus Dei. The faculty drew on sources such as Church documents, writings of the Fathers and Doctors of the Church, and works of contemporary spiritual writers.
