E. R. Pounder

E. R. Pounder was a geophysicist known for his work on the physical properties of ice and their relevance to geophysics and glaciology. His classic monograph 'The Physics of Ice', first published by Pergamon Press in 1965, provided one of the earliest systematic treatments of ice as a physical material.[1][8]
