David Golumbia

David Golumbia was a professor of English at Virginia Commonwealth University and a critic of the politics behind digital technologies. He spent time in financial technology before moving into academia and authored several books, including 'The Cultural Logic of Computation' and 'The Politics of Bitcoin: Software as Right-Wing Extremism'. He was known for his incisive critiques of the right-wing ideologies embedded in digital technologies and passed away in 2023 at the age of 60.
