Chiung Yao (Chen Che)

Chiung Yao, whose real name is Chen Che, was a Taiwanese writer and film producer. Born in Chengdu, Sichuan, in 1938, she moved to Taiwan with her family in 1949. She is renowned for her romance novels, particularly 'Outside the Window', which was her first full-length novel and a classic of Chinese romantic literature.
