Carol S. Steiker

Carol S. Steiker is the Henry J. Friendly Professor of Law and Director of the Criminal Justice Policy Program at Harvard Law School. She specializes in criminal justice, with a special focus on capital punishment. She has done pro bono work for indigent criminal defendants, including death penalty cases in the U.S. Supreme Court, and has testified before Congress and state legislatures.
