Captain Sir Tom Moore

Captain Sir Tom Moore was born in Yorkshire in 1920. He enlisted in the British Army during World War II and served throughout the war. He is known for his charity work, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, where he raised £32 million for the NHS by walking laps of his garden. He holds two Guinness World Records and founded the Captain Tom Foundation to help people help others.
