Boubacar Boris Diop

Boubacar Boris Diop is a Senegalese novelist, journalist, and screenwriter. Born in Dakar in 1946, he has written numerous books, including 'Murambi, The Book of Bones', which is a fictional account of the Rwandan genocide of 1994. He is also the founder of the independent newspaper 'Sol' in Senegal and has been awarded the 2022 Neustadt International Prize for Literature.
