Benjamin Jowett

Plato (c. 427–347 BC) was a Greek philosopher and mathematician who founded the Academy in Athens, one of the earliest institutions of higher learning in the Western world. He is best known for his written philosophical works in the form of dialogues, where he explores various philosophical concepts through conversations between characters.
