Appianus of Alexandria

A Greek historian with Roman citizenship, born around AD 95 in Alexandria. He held public offices, practiced as a lawyer in Rome, and later became a procurator under Emperor Antoninus Pius. His works are valuable historical sources for the Roman Empire.
