J. Efunlayo Maxey is an experienced Reiki Master-Teacher, an ordained Ifa/Yoruba priestess and retired schoolteacher and administrator. She has combined these skills and experiences to create classes, workshops and a spiritual life coaching practice for adults and children. It is her belief that Reiki supports and blends well with all aspects of one's life. Efunlayo is also co-founder of the Melanated Reiki Healers Collective. This community of practitioners, many of whom received training from Efunlayo, shares its unique perspective to support both the teaching and practice of Reiki for melanated healers.
