Where we often go wrong in relationships…"Real men are big and strong and never show their emotions!" This leads to emotionally unavailable men and shallow connections for fear of being judged. I’ll go even further and say it’s due to a fear of being hurt...yet this ultimately hurts us and our partners as the relationship deteriorates. When we try to avoid our emotions and hide behind walls, we lack a deep sense of who we really are at our core. So we have to assign ourselves to the role of the tough guy and think it's "hurt or be hurt." In this episode, we go into how that couldn't be more wrong and the importance of being emotionally available for our partners and ourselves.
