Born and raised in Kiev, Ukraine, attorney Marina Kats is an American success story. After immigrating to Philadelphia in 1979, she enrolled in business school and then law school while working two jobs. In 1995, she obtained an LLM in Trial Advocacy from Temple University School of law, an advanced degree held by less than 1% of all attorneys. That year, she founded the law firm of Kats, Jamison & Associates, which has since become one of the most well-respected litigation firms in the region, with offices in PA, NJ, and NY.
