Today's episode is the first in a short series that will deal with the idea of conspiracy theories and their effects on revisionist history. Part 1 looks at what conspiracy theories are, why we're so taken with them, and the negative effects that they have. The next several episodes will deal with, and debunk, the myriad of conspiracy theories sparked by one historical event: the JFK assassination.
