64. Why Motivation Is Not The Secret To Success (& What Is)

One of the biggest questions I get asked by my clients is: how do I stay motivated and get all the things done? Well, I have unpopular news for you. Motivation is not the secret to success. The overall notion of cultivating and needing motivation is bullshit, but I do think it has its place. If you truly want to show up, serve, and be unstoppable on your entrepreneurial journey, you need a little more than motivation to get you there.

 

In today’s episode, I am breaking the illusion, once and for all, that entrepreneurs need to cultivate motivation to find success. Because you straight up don’t. I’m unpacking why motivation is not the secret weapon, how relying on motivation takes away your power to create, why you can’t wait for inspiration or motivation to get things done, and why learning how you operate can help set you up for success.
